8 Smartphone Application Builders

Developing applications for smartphones is the new business for a lot of software companies and freelance developers. Sometimes different customers ask very simple applications that are structurally and functionally similar.

In these cases it could be faster to use Application Builder software that allow to create an application using templates and common functions.

Below I list 8 of this type of software. Of course, the list is not exhaustive.

Nokia App Wizard

No longer available

This is the solution provided by Nokia. Even if Nokia announced the partnership with Microsoft and the decision to abandon Symbian, the Ovi App Wizard is still a good tool.

Apps Builder

Created by an Italian company, this is the unique tool (in this list) that plans to support also Windows Phone OS. Another interesting feature is the possibility to convert a Wordpress based blog in a native application.

One of the interesting features of iSites is the possibility to manage the submission of the application on the Apple App Store and the Android Market.

Seatle Clouds

It provides tools to create applications for iPhone and Android. iPad is not supported.

It has a big number of business categories that can help developers to fit in a better way the customer’s needs.

It allows to create web or native applications.

Makes it easy to create gallery-based, location-based, news or business applications.

Bizness Apps

One of the most interesting services provided, it is the submission of application on the stores by the Bizness Apps staff.
